One month to go.....

It is exactly ONE MONTH from now that we'll be departing for Brazzaville, Republic of Congo (ROC), but - no flight info has been sent to us yet, hmmmmmm. This is a HUGE exercise for me in "go with the flow", I'm such a planner. We have our 18 suitcases in our basement, half of them packed. Tomorrow we're scheduled to get our yellow fever and typhoid fever vaccines, whooooooooooooo-hooooooooooooooo. We've known since Feb. 6 that we were doing this, so - have had plenty of time to get things organized; however, there's just a lot of stuff we cannot do until les enfants et le chien move to SE KS, in with Judi and Hugh (carpet, paint, moving heavy furniture), blah blah. This will be much more interesting once we're THERE and I'm writing about our experiences. We've been told we'll be in Brazzaville (BZV) for just a few days and then they're flying us to Cameroon for PD (where the "sister school" is located). Yes, children going with us (not sure who will watch them, maybe they'll be in the orientation with us). Getting visas - that, so far, has only entailed our scanning our passports and emailing them to someone in ROC. This person will get resident and work visas and they'll be waiting for us at the airport in BZV. I enrolled Stuart and Paloma also by scanning American International School of Brazzaville (AISB) applications and then emailing them to someone in ROC. If we had to PAY for their tuition, which we wouldn't do, it would cost BEACOUP d'argent!
